By accessing or using the Shedams mobile application and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Shedams is a community-centric fitness lifestyle app that provides:

• Activity tracking for walking, running, and cycling
• Gamified fitness features including quests, challenges, and achievements
• Social features including leaderboards and community challenges
• Health and wellness insights

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

Users under 13 must have parental consent to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Cheat or manipulate fitness data or leaderboards

5. Health Disclaimer

Important: Shedams is designed for general fitness tracking and motivation. It is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• Consult a healthcare provider before starting any exercise program
• Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort
• The calorie and health metrics provided are estimates only

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Shedams and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (such as profile photos and posts). By submitting content, you grant Shedams a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shedams shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved by Arbitration first, and, if not resolved, in the courts of England & Wales or Nigeria.
